Just wanted to say thanks for all the help you've given me with the 4770. Thanks also for posting the pictures up and I am sorry they were so big!
Although it's just over 24 hours since I took delivery, the watch is definitely growing on me and I am deeply impressed with its frightening accuracy so far. As I mentioned to you, I am tracking time loss / gain on an internet atomic clock. So far, it hasn't lost even a second and in fact even my PC (Windows XP) clock had lost over a second since yesterday before I auto-synchronised it again just now! For an automatic and an ultra slim automatic at that, this result is very, very impressive. Mind you, I have been wearing the G-P non-stop so far...
I once very briefly owned a Tag Heuer quartz 200m professional and recall that over a 24 hour period, it had lost just over 2 seconds.
The one thing I didn't expect from a G-P was supreme accuracy and I am very pleasantly surprised indeed and more so because this is a subject rarely mentioned by anyone.
Hope it keeps up and this could be the beginning of a long and beautiful friendship between me and my little G-P!!
