The Richeville has always been an interesting and charming line and my two favourite models are the perpetual calendar ref.27220 and the pc minute repeater ref. 99600.
Those two for me are among the best Tonneaus ever.
I think that for now a return of the Richeville in the current production is very difficult because off its particularity and because it is not the best moment on the market to launch such a model. It worths especially for GP, a brand that in the previous years did not go very well, so it has to release model that are sure (or almost) to be successful.
However personally I would love a return of this model but only in a tonneau shape.

the 2520 Richeville had a size of 32x28mm, while the first re-release of the Vintage 45 (Ref 2595) had a case size of 29x28mm. The Vintage 45 however had the longer characteristic lugs. In comparison, the modern Vintage 45 XXL has a case dimension of 36.2...

While I may most be drawn to the earlier ones, it is such a rich, great line! As you said, the Tonneau case shape may not be all the rage now but I hope this changes at some point!

yes, the case size is the same (37 x 50 as you said) and no, there was not a larger case.
