Rolex: May I join the party please?

My ref: 7934 recently put on a generic spare bracelet and has been wrist-borne for a couple of weeks. It was renovated by a Rolex servicing repairer six years ago by the vendor at a cost far greater than I had paid him for the watch! Not worn much by me but is keeping excellent time within 0/+4 secs

Horological Meandering: Your steel bracelet looks tired and stretched . . .

. . . and one of the links is shown front-to-back. The bracelet also looks too fussy for your JLC watch. Is that really a JLC bracelet? I would choose a black alligator strap for your watch with the black dial enhanced accordingly. Clive

TimeOut: Ukraineian manufacture. Russia blew up the manufacturer, including an AN 124 on the ground there at the start of the invasion.

The Royal Air Force used to hire one of these to move objects too large for any UK aeroplanes.
