Very nice watch but
have to say it's just another recased GP030C0. I understand the economics but I'd hate to decide based purely on the looks of the watch and be asked to pay manufacture price. Like you said, Nicolas, it could do with a large, manual wind movement. Now that would have been something, and a real anniversary piece.

The beveled bezel is certainly different, and the 'blue' color a different shade than the 5070P but certainly very similar... Agree the 5070 wasn't the first to use that look, but right or wrong, that 'look' is now irrevocably tied to the 5070. Regardless...

When it comes to GP, I would be more prudent in making no exception abouit auto movements.

I like the dial
but it is not for me because of the mismatch of the case with the small movement (10 1/2!). That is a problem with the entire 1966 line for me. Best Andreas
