I can't remember the last time I saw a British Car on the road save for Rolls' and Jags, and newer ones at that.  I had a '76 TR-6.  I think the biggest problem here anyway, is a serious lack of *actual* mechanics who know how to work on them, so they've all gone to the auto graveyard I guess.  I can only assume that in England, there's probably still a fair number of mechanics as compared to modern day 'technicians'.
