fellow go enthusiasts: i'm writing to see if anyone else has had similar experience. i've had my sport evo for a little over a year, and the trieste strap has started to develop cracks in it. i don't wear it every day as i regularly rotate my watches. so ... 

Hi Chris, could you maybe post a picture of the damage? It would make it easier to say something reasonable. In general one would not expect the strap to develop cracks after one year. I would not even expect so if the watch was worn regularly or under es... 

I have a PanoMaticReserve XL with the Trieste strap. I bought it 13 months ago and the strap does not show any sign of wear. Please note that I don’t use it everyday because I use four different GO randomly. Best Jarle

It also depends on when you wear it... I mean that I destroyed some leather straps when I wore my watch while the weather was very warm and wet... At the end of 7 days, the strap was ruined. On normal weather condition, I guess it wouldn't happen. By the ... 

posting a photo would help.... however, if you bought oyur watch new, I am certain that your AD would exchange it for you without charge.... cheers

i've been away for a while, so i apologize for the delay. the strap basically looks brand new except for this crack. anyway, this thing is not exposed to anything harsh and i have not even put it in water. i save the rugged stuff for my beloved omegas. ch...

i think the irony here is that the strap is supposed to be more durable than a regular leather strap, as far as i understand. on the other hand, perhaps we are just two outliers in an otherwise solid performing strap.

I brought the watch to my AD and though the strap wasn't under warranty they repaired it. They did a great job (you would never know it was repaired) and didn't charge me. As I said before, the strap had separated between the top black fabric and the red ... 

As someone who is giving serious consideration to purchasing this strap for my Sport Evo GMT, I have to say that I'm not encouraged by this thread. GO isn't exactly giving this strap away, you know, so I find it sort of disappointing to hear that they won...
