Authenticity
While I can agree from a purely aesthetic point of view I think that there is some reason in putting the text on the back. Any watch from the sixties would have similar text: Waterproof, anti magnetic, and shock resistant, typically. It adds to the credibility of the watch as homage to the periode.

and he (perhaps unfortunately) used the 60s as an example. To be clear my comments were not directed at the sixties in particular but the line in general. I would still lose some script on that one but would happily wear as is
