I used to own a Panograph, loved it and unfortunately it went in a time of great need to a better home. A shame as it was one of my favourite pieces in the collection during that period. The pushers were smooth and the unusual 30 minute sectoral counter is brilliant, easy to read and actually useful instead of the typical small round dial. The large date with no interstitial bar between numerals of the tens and 0-9 is excellent too!
The finishing of the caliber isn't the most exotic, but then again it isn't priced that way. I think these watches are excellent timepieces and the Panoretrograph with it's chrono that also runs backwards as a count down timer is just brilliant!
I hope others chime in with their experiences and photos.
Cheers,
Tim

to say hello to you in our modest G.O. virtual home, my friend. Well, to me the PanoRetroGraph is the king of G.O.s Chronograph movements. It is not so much about finishing but more about the overall concept and about the beauty of the movement layout. I ...
Yes, this is the comparison with the " Retro " which kills the Pano a bit, indeed.

I mean, the comparison between the two movements, because the concept, in both cases, is great. Yes, I have a soft spot for the Rattrapante, ther are not so many ( all brands included ) in the market, currently. And the movement is top. I still have to de...

in all fairness, I only seriously looked at the piece that allows the minutes to be set exact So with your post, I googled the watch. I thought the movement of the panoretrograoh looks real nice. Well when I found the dial side, WHOA! As we all know, blac...
PanoRetro...!

You know my soft spot for the PanoRetroGraph... Anyway in my opinion the best side of these watches remains the backside: the dials design is far from the ones of the movements, apart the new Panograph that I love the most for its wonderful dial but... It...
