Fellow Purist Tim T located one of the rare reverse pattern Karree cal 42's for me in H K last year, but I was in the midst of buying a home and couldn't spare the funds at the time. The more I pondered the watch you just acquired (and that I should have shortly), though, it became apparent to me that the cal 22 was the better all-around design. The designers at G O created such a balanced watch that I was able to abandon my favored original Karree case design . . . the canny mixture of formal and casual design elements in the cal 22 Karree Panodate has produced a watch that can be worn in pretty much any situation with ease.
