In all fairness, it should be noted this is the first instance (in my memory, at least) of a watch emanating from the Manufacture with a diameter larger than 44 mm. It can hardly be said that G O caters to the extremes of trendiness. It's a very large watch, to be sure, but given the range of complications, and taking into account the German penchant for producing typically thicker movements than their Swiss counterparts, isn't it likely that form still follows function?
