. . . the moon phase indicator is set from the crown, and not by a pusher. One wonders whether there will be a perpetual calendar based on the new cal 36 movement, and if so, will it offer correction from the crown as well? ...

We talk about that in Basel but never get the answer if it still will have 100 hours power reserve with a complication like date or moonphase.

Maybe I should trade it in on one of these new models? ... and get a better camera while I am at it? The previous photos is the service replacement dial. Here is the original dial and the troublesome hands. Note that the date and moon apertures vary on my...

I think that the date does an excellent job on the senator Excellence. Without it the white dials - especially the steel one - may be perceived as standing at the edge of being a little too empty. The date "fixes" that in a convincing way. Even more when ...
