Glashütte Original

Got this watch a while back, but I'll share some photos here now. Personally I think Glashutte Original makes watches of exceptional value, given the meticulous dial work and movement decoration. The movement finish is not quite Lange level, but very clos...  

One can clearly feel your appreciation from the post - and with good reason! It is a lovely watch and it demonstrates why GO is where it is today very persuasively - excellent finish, enough uniqueness, interesting design and flawless execution. Hope you ... 

I think it's due to the fact that this is the very first high end watch purchase I made, so it is more meaningful to me. Certainly very different than any other watch I have!

But you will tell me that when the model is nice, the picture is easier... Nonetheless, they are superb. Really superb. As for the watch, I cannot disagree with you. A serious, well done, and eye catching G.O. I too have a soft spot for these double swan ... 

The double swan neck is certainly a beauty, though I don't think it makes the watch any more accurate than any other watches. But who cares! haha

Lovely piece indeed, this PanoMaticLunar. A very calm and collected mood on the dial and a very well made movement inside. Maybe it is due to the round case but I sense the 60ies whenever I see this watch. Best Moritz

I think this watch looks more 60's and classic than the actual Sixties in GO's line up

It's definitely worth considering, the new Senator Excellence is gorgeous too. Brand new 100hr automatic movement with silicone hairspring, good to see GO modernizing their movements.

Really motivates me to try to improve my photography skills!

..seen 3-4 other manufactures incl Lange/Zeitwinkel who haven't got it right - It bothers me to see them in different planes. GO recently invested in making of newer better dials. Hope the trend continues and catches up with the the other fine watchmakers... 

I'm curious why Lange (especially) hasn't incorporated this design into their dates?

and with dark dials, with the little space between the discs almost invisible, this indication reach the top! Unmistakable beauty...

G.O. make superb watches (Glashuette knows nothing else) and you are absolutely right-the steel cases make this a truly affordable high-end option. As for the date complication, again you are right. Maybe Lange is just stubborn.

I'm sure your love for this little jewel will grow day by. I had this watch in my hands few days ago, with other GO models, and I can say that this is a really nice piece, something that describe very well the GO world. Moreover, the dial has an exemplary... 

The ruthenium dial is beautiful too, I saw it in person at the AD. In the end I chose the white because I thought it would stand the test of time and I will never get bored of it. The instant date change also has a very satisfying 'click' sound when it ch...

It's interesting how much the discs jiggle with slowmo!

. . . blue with silver . . . . . . the PanoMatic Lunar is one of Glashütte's signatures. Terrific macros, Kevin. Actually, I'm more impressed by your choice of a G O PML as your first watch than by having chosen it at all - that's quite an encomium! Cordi...  

This watch just does not have a bad color combo, every variation is beautiful in its own right. Thank you for the kind words Art, the PML isn't really my first watch, I own 2 Omegas which were given to me by my in laws and my father. The PML, technically,... 

The best valued watch in GO is this one! Wonderful finish and unique german design makes it a winner! And the double swan neck just rocks my socks off! congrats on ur watch, and really nicely taken photos too!

Your closeups show nicely how wonderfully done the guilloche/azurage on the dials are, and how uniform even at the overlap point with the subdials. Regards, skyeriding
