People who buy Glashutte Original are real watch lovers. Not status seekers - since the brand isn't immediately obvious and even quite obscure. I've met many individuals with multi-million US dollar watch collections who've never even heard of the brand. ... 

Not sure why because they have many interesting calibres and some of them are quite handsome. To me, anyway

I unfortunately find this watch to be a bit too big for my admittedly boyish wrist. Told my personal trainer I wanted big arms so I could wear bigger watches - even with exercise, it didn't improve.

But such a splendid piece. Silly question - Even if a piece is a bit large and thick, have you ever considered buying it anyway if it really tickles you?

I have bought oversized watches before like Panerais and IWC Big Pilots. But those were more intentional. I do have a very large Breguet dress watch, but it's thinner, so it doesn't look as oversized as a GO Senator Chronometer does on my wrist.

I'm deciding between the rose gold and the white gold blue dial. Is the texture of the white dial as evident as the the blue one? Had the blue one on my wrist but not the white. Btw, you probably know this - the gray dial's bezel is 44mm. 2mm larger than ... 

The dial looks smooth to the eye Didn't know the grey dial has larger by 2mm. Thought they were the same
