. . . it's my understanding that the Calendar Week movement compensates for the rare year with 53 weeks so long as it's properly set on January 1st. I will double-check for you with Our Man in Glashütte.
The Calendar Week has an incredibly complex movement, and is perhaps the least appreciated complication in the field. Unfortunately, weekly business planning is virtually unknown in America, so consequently there's practically no demand for this unique design here. I've only seen two in dealer showcases, with perhaps a few held amongst the members of this forum.
