the butterfly is my top 3 all time favorite opus! the mechanism that tells time in a different form is refreshing, wish we see more of these type of creation

how is the finishing on the movement? would be nice for a side by side comparison to Andreas' own butterflysmile

I would like to present you a not very well known Opus: the Opus 7. When I say "not very well known", it is because when you ask people about what are the emblematic Opus in their point of view, the Opus 7 is not named very often. It is a pity, the Opus 7...

Sadly, I only have poor pictures of the Papillon. I must confess I prefer the Opus 7, the Papillon has a more "handcrafted" touch... Fr.Xavier...

i wouldn't know that! there r so few information on this beauty i always thought the spirit of AHCI resided on uniqueness of creation as i can imagine its pretty hard for a any small shop to take on the latest technology in many aspects of watch making. w...

I was not familiar with the Opus 7 until reading your piece. The detail and personal reflections on the watch are refreshing and definitely appreciated. I agree, that at first glance, reading the time might be considered a chore on this watch. But it also...
