I suppose that a power reserve complication does not quite incite high passion like a date window does. Still, I have been thinking about the topic somewhat and would like your opinion on the feature. Personally I like the watch to be as clean as possible...
On a very short power reserve, less than 40 hours, also. For the rest... Except if it was part of the concept, such as the JLC Futurematic, or the Powermatic. At that time, it was something! Best, Nicolas

handwind: long power reserve because you are not obliged to wind the watch every day. automatic: the winding efficiency can be very different from caliber to another one and sometimes, I feel the need. I don't think it is useful for handwind watches with ...
And one I have thought about a lot myself, as I also do not like fussy dials and tend to step towards dress watches. I think a reserve is perhaps the most useful complication especially for manual watches. After all, if I want complications I will go to m...

I just wanted to chime in that I like watches with power reserves and I like them without them. I find them very convenient. But it's not a feature I require nor even request. I do wish to add; I was told by a man of great watch knowledge that a good and ...
Just looked at my watch and it has apparently stopped earlier as the time is slow by an hour, it's an automatic watch with a power reserve. Looks like I have a grumpy watch! Time to wind it and wear it a lot today to make it happy again!
