Misalignment of the minute hand
LONGINES LEGEND DIVER, L3.764.4.90.7
I set the watch so that when the second hand is at 12 O'clock the minute hand is aligned with a marker. Despite this, the minute hand drifts to the point that on one half of the dial it falls in between two markers (with the second hand aligned with 12 O'clock) and on the other half of the dial it gradually aligns with the markers. The process is gradual on both half of the dial. The watch has gone back twice because Longines said this should not be the case, however, I have a feeling this is something to do with the way the movement has been manufactured and therefore inherent to the watch. Perhaps others don't notice this. Have you noticed this with any of your watches (regardless of the brand)? I read somewhere this was a common issue with some older Rolex movements. Other than this, the watch keeps a perfect time despite being abused daily, only gains 1 second after 5 days!
I will be interested to hear what your experience has been.
