Ironically, the defense business, of which the private security sector is a large chunk, has been booming in the last 10-15 years in all of California due to the tumultuous socio-economic climate. It is still on track to rise at least 4.5% each year through the end of 2026. That's why me getting the 'coveted' private patrol operator business license, to run a security firm of any size in the state of California, is a pretty big deal to me which will pave the path to building a sustainable long-term business for myself. I deliberately avoided posting the few that I took because they were hopelessly blurred! Light coming in from all angles, plus the sun setting and making it even harder to make a reasonably focused frame.... It was clearly awesome, the Duo is a JLC staple...

But, even with top equipment, the conditions for macro shots have to be highly favorable. On top of that, my lens is as wide-angle as it gets, so macro pics can only be achieved through extreme cropping.... I do plan on changing that foreseeably!....
