Horological Meandering

I deliberately avoided posting the few that I took because they were hopelessly blurred! Light coming in from all angles, plus the sun setting and making it even harder to make a reasonably focused frame.... It was clearly awesome, the Duo is a JLC staple... 

But, even with top equipment, the conditions for macro shots have to be highly favorable. On top of that, my lens is as wide-angle as it gets, so macro pics can only be achieved through extreme cropping.... I do plan on changing that foreseeably!....

Either the UTT, or this latest steel version. My issue is, this security contract shit that keeps repeating at least once a year, the company I work for literally lost the contract Sunday night, and now I'm clueless as to what my work schedule will be lik... 

It's simply beyond annoying, especially at the height of the holiday season. I've generally had pretty bad luck with watch purchase timing, but that will mostly be resolved when I'm writing my own contracts, as opposed to having a massive multi-billion do...

Ironically, the defense business, of which the private security sector is a large chunk, has been booming in the last 10-15 years in all of California due to the tumultuous socio-economic climate. It is still on track to rise at least 4.5% each year throu...
