3000 isn't what it used to be!
Still, averages out to a post a day for 8 years or so -- not too bad...
You can tell from the frequency of its appearance in my posts that the Observatoire is a big favorite of mine as well -- clearly one of my very few top pieces. Just back from routine service, and the movement really gleams!

Would love to learn more about your technique, particularly concerning lighting! As for the subdials, having the right camera and glass helps a lot -- but having the right lighting to enhance details without blowing out highlights is an ongoing challenge,...

The balance between perfection and artificiality (most of the watch adverts falls here) without resorting on the Photoshop temptations. Your pics set the high standard that we all should target. My 100% reliance on natural light has many drawbacks but ......
