Greetings to all! Seems like it's only been 9 years since I started posting here (in fact, it has been) and I have finally managed to creep up to the 3000 post mark -- with the most recent 1000 covered in the space of the last 10 months. As has become my ...

Gary, Amazing pics. Your Harbring shot is outstanding. Everyone knows how hard is to capture those sub dials details. I, and all here, will be waiting for your next 3000 and more. Parabéns (Portuguese), Nilo

Would love to learn more about your technique, particularly concerning lighting! As for the subdials, having the right camera and glass helps a lot -- but having the right lighting to enhance details without blowing out highlights is an ongoing challenge,... 

The balance between perfection and artificiality (most of the watch adverts falls here) without resorting on the Photoshop temptations. Your pics set the high standard that we all should target. My 100% reliance on natural light has many drawbacks but ......

...the VC OS is still my daily wear watch! I have it on the bracelet at the moment but will likely switch it on to the grey croc for the remainder of the winter. Wore the OS to our Sunday brunch in Geneva last week and on Tuesday at the show -- gets a lot...

Still, averages out to a post a day for 8 years or so -- not too bad... You can tell from the frequency of its appearance in my posts that the Observatoire is a big favorite of mine as well -- clearly one of my very few top pieces. Just back from routine ...

you have some of the most wanted watches on the planet right there. Its like my WIShlist! Every watch there, you really need to have the knowledge to appreciate and own them. Great job with the collection and needless to say I continue to admire your skil... 

...my tastes have migrated as I've learned more. Still not above buying a fun piece "just because," but I do agree that many of these pieces are ones that folks might dismiss if they didn't have the benefit of some deeper info. Think I'll just be enjoying...
