Advice needed: this or that?
I am trying to choose between two watches:
A Felipe Pikullik Classic:
and an H. Moser & Cie Vantablack:
Thoughts? I have *some* views of my own - clearly - but am interested in the opinions of people on here…
I am not unduly swayed by manual vs automatic - both have pros and cons. I’d like to keep price out of it for now - though it will be a factor, let’s assume they are priced the same.
In terms of looks, finishing, mechanism, brand story (and likely future development) and - not to a decisive but to a small extent - likely future value (it’s not an investment but we all end up selling at least some pieces sometimes!): which would you go for?

I would go for the Pikullik but would add an engraved
balance cock. I would also go for a pin buckle as the one pictured above does not look high-grade and comfortable (could be wrong here). Thanks.

The Pikulik for sure
as the brand is still priced reasonably as it is not as well known as Moser. The quality is astounding for the price.
Probably the Moser - as I like the unadorned dial
If you can get the FP with an unadorned dial - then it makes the choice a whole lot harder. Go for the one that makes you happiest Cheers JML

Can you elaborate? Both are similarly-sized steel watches with great mechanisms/finishing (it’s not at all clear that Moser wins on finishing incidentally - I would give that to FP - though Moser’s are fully in-house whereas FP’s are ETA ebauches). Moser ...
