And a FP Journe is not the best timepiece to practice windsurfing, biking or play tennis. For me, the G-Shocks have been that kind of loyal warrior since many years ...  

When the Oak can’t be worn, there’s always the Casioak. Unfortunately since our dog came into our home, the beaters are becoming de rigeur..

I know they are quite popular among certain collectord.

I can see that the aesthetics are not to everyone’s taste, but as beaters I can’t think of a more worry-free watch.

Until I discovered it was a pain in the rear to set... LOL! ...  

... and all I had to do was change the city and the watch did the rest Looks great on your wrist!

I had to go to a store for help on resetting it.

... I just followed the instructions step by step. Have learned that the hard way

I found the instructions to be un-intuitive. Add to that an LCD screen that's impossible to read, a completely pointless watch.
