In therms of the standard way mechanical watches works.
Simpler said, watches without a balance wheel and hair spring.
Quarts, monolithic oscillator are two that do it without the balance wheel and hair spring as we all know.
Spring drive i heard from and it must be a ground breaking break through.
I was convinced when i saw FC comes with that crazy movement that i wanted to posses such a watch.
Sure, i buy only watches that have the design i like, so watches that do not speak to me and have a great movement fall of my wish list.
FC was lucky to come with a watch that looks so stunning for me, i searched for a FC AD and contacted them.
Very polite they treaded me, and i want to thank Bart to sell me a FC810.
He have a nice golden peace still in his shop, so that watch still wait for an owner.
I do not want it, because first FC have to improve the rate performance.
For 4.5K it is ok that the rate performance is not good enough, but when it was good, i could not imagine a better watch in the world.
The potential is there, and when FC fix the problem, maybe they could be very big in terms of a serious watch brand recognized of inventions and quality.
When they fix it, i would not buy another watch from another brand no more.
