Back from the watchmaker after a second trip.
It was running slow after a service, so back she went. Thankfully running properly now 3 days of testing.
Here is my Minerva Aviation 45. From 1997. Made in 50 examples. Known as reference A71-A6B. 42mm which was considered oversized in 1997. The movement used was an NOS Valjoux 71 circa 1930's to 1940's.
The movement was meant to be hidden behind a solid caseback so you can see its rudimentary finish. Hope you all are having a great Thursday!

Regards,
Steve

I agree that it’s kind of cool to see a movement that was generally hidden in every other watch it was cased in. Considering it was meant to be hidden, in my eyes it’s still a good looking architecture 👍

It’s definitely a favorite Minerva of mine and the size at 42mm fits me well. Hope you are well and have a great Memorial Day weekend!
