Horological Meandering

I wasn’t planning on buying a new watch but I kept watching YouTube videos on this model and had to pull the trigger. Funny thing was I got it on the bracelet for the same MSRP it usually sells for on the strap. Plus I was looking for a Quartz GMT I do ha...  

This came to my mind. What do you think of focussing on start ups? For reasonable prices new talents want to find new public for their creations. Do not pin me on, i’d never bought a watch from a start up. An example of a successful start up is Ming.

Timex is not a start-up, it's been in the watch biz for a long time. But they haven't always sought to make watches for collectors like us. ...  

I’m sure you seen them? If not I’ve heard good things about them. I believe they use to have a higher end line called TX? But most were overpriced I remember there being Perpetual Calendars, World Timers and Chronograph.

More upwards, Bulova moves a bit narrower to us collectors. Timex, i know it is more something a North American watch.
