Cool new Longines Book is out!
There's a new book out by Longines on their watches that participated in historical events such as owned by Albert Einstein or a famous pioneer aviator.
I think there are a few excerpts from the book out on the internet. Looks like a great book that shares the stories behind some of the most interesting historical
watches in existance. A bunch of collectors got together and started documenting their watches and the historical background events of the watches. The
project was honestly a bit of a nightmare. Longines and their Heritage Museum got involved in the project and basically provided the corporate backing and
investment needed to make this book happen. It took a few years, maybe 4 years to make this book. There are 35 collector watches and 15 museum watches
discussed in the book. I think there were over 20 collectors that had their watches vetted, researched, photographed, and now published by Longines.
