Horological Meandering

Dada...here are the answers:

1. How many people were there that evening?

There were 11 of us that evening, including TM. Since there were15 watches on the table, a couple of people must have brought more than one piece...

2. Name the watches in the picture.

Did you spot some 'rare birds'? Allow me to post the picture again. They were (from left to right):

Panerai - PAM 27A

FP Journe - Octa Automatique Lune in PT

FP Journe – Chronometre a Resonance in PT

Panerai - Vintage Radiomir 3646 (Rolex movement)

FP Journe – Chronometre Souverain Tokyo LE edition in Ti and RG

Heuer - 3H Pilots Flyback Chrono

MB & F - HM#2 in Titanium and Ceramic

Panerai - PAM 305

Moser & Cie - Perpetual 1 in RG

Dufour - Simplicity

Patek Philippe – Gubelin

AP – Jules Audemars “The Governator” private edition perpetual chronograph in SS (not released commercially)

The Habring 2 – Carinthian “sub seconds with cold enamel dial”

Lodovic Ballouard - The Upside Down launch series

Corum – East West Golden Bridge Anniversary Edition

3. Which watches were Thomas'?

I am now forbidden to say anything about TM's pieces, but those who know him well will surely guess his tastes...and if you send me a bribe, I can reply by PM...

4. What was TM's favorite brand?

As I said, it was supposed to be a 'tongue-in-cheek' question (did you notice that one brand made multiple appearances in the picture? In fact, we all contemplated wearing that brand coming to the dinner :P)... but Nico, you were spot on about AP.

Sam
