Horological Meandering

Dear John,

First of all welcome to this forum. I hope you will also find it a nice, hospitable and informative space.

Many thanks for your post and sorry for not having spotted it ealier.
What you write is very interesting and infirms an other opinion voiced earlier on this very thread. Hearing that you are the original owner of your watch makes it even more intersting. as you know this is a very rare watch, and there is not much tobe read on it on the internet. Likewise there is very precious published picture material, and virtually nothing reliable/ conclusive about the type of crown mounted originally.
I was asked to post more pictures as part of this thread but I decided not to do so as I felt one of the comments was decidely negative. Difficult sharing in these circumstances... Having said that, I  would be very glad sharing more pictures of my watch with you by PM and I would off course love to see of few of your own watch. I am especially kean discovering  pictures of the winding crown,  second crown and pusher.  I can also send you a link (not allowed on this forum) to an Italian speaking website that compares the 2 generations of Cricket Nauticals as well as other links to other articles about Piquerez cases.
I am abroad at the moment but I will do so when I am back and can find time.
Best regards
Z'
