If you change straps frequently and are concerned about scratching the lugs then the quick release straps are useful. I find them just as secure as a standard spring bar.
One drawback is that the buckle end is not quick release, so you either need to have multiple buckles fitted to different straps, or change the buckle each time, making the whole process not so 'quick'.
I like the suppleness of Camille Fournet straps. I have never had the colour bleeding issue you describe from any strap.
