Great news for Doxa fans in Japan, it's now possible to check some of them in the metal in Tokyo at Hankyu mens' basement in Yurakucho and Osaka.

Without further ado, I tried a few models.
Sub300 professional. I sold my black lung and wouldn't mind adding a plain orange dial. I was hoping to check the 300T professional but it was already sold out.

My first and long awaited encounter with the 300T. I was expecting it to be a much bulkier watch but it wore extremely well which is typical of doxa cushion cases. The inky black dial of the sharkhunter was quite attractive in a traditional dive watch way.

I had been curious about the Caribbean for a while, it gives a nice casual vibe to the 300T.

Since we're talking about blue I got a chance to check the 200 in aquamarine. The blue dial changes a lot depending on lighting conditions from a pale to an electric blue. Comfort was excellent.

Last but not least the carbon 300. The rubber strap is very comfy but the large oem deployant buckle negates the benefit of an ultralight carbon case and the overall weight didn't feel that different from my searambler on shark mesh.

Overall it was a lot of fun and it would be easy to end up with several models in the collection. I would like to check the 300T professional at the next possible opportunity as well as the 200 cgraph ii with its metallic blue and orange dials.
