All the time before I always dreamt of a repeater watch, but I had to accept that the faint chimes are impossible for me to hear. So I acquired a quarter repeater pocket watch, which has a really full and loud sound, at a bargain price. This made space free in my dreams for the Datograph - thank you, Mr White!

That’s a very nice piece you are looking at! I’m looking at a 3940G or 3940P, as my work piece. Would sell everything in my collection to have that and one non-work piece. For me, the 3940 represents the peak of Patek engineering and style.
