Engravings
Here’s a subject I haven’t seen discussed. Of course I could have missed it. Here’s a Hamilton Langley from the 30’s with a charming engraving. Hamilton watches were used by Packard and Cadillac as presentation watches. The engravings on those are beautiful. I’ve owned two other
very cool engraved watches. A Cyma Chronometer from 1953, presented to Leopold Stokowski in appreciation for his great contribution to the world of music. The other was a Jaeger LeCoultre calendar moonphase from the 50’s. I saw it and right away knew. T.M.L.H and underneath it F.Y.L.W. I’ll post the answer later in case any of you guys want to try it.
