Horological Meandering

When I am considering a new watch ( probably more often than I should ) there are usually 3-5 things that I consider, in this order. 1. Does the dial grab my attention and is it appealing to my eyes 2. Is the shape of the case interesting or cool looking ...  

Within my current collection. If it doesn’t make the collection better, I don’t buy it.

You don’t have to replace. But if you are adding, do so in the context of everything you have.

Collecting and accumulating.

And that Key Lime Pie watch is STILL making me drool every time I see it. I doubt I could wear it, because I'd look like a drooling fool all the time.

And then, is there something special? For example - a Patek calatrava or the Credor eichi ii. I'm not bashing PP, but the Credor (at least for me) is in a different class. Thanks for a very interesting post!

My criteria is very simple and straightforward. 1) It needs to sing to me, in other words does it evoke emotion from me? If not, I move on. 2) Does it actually fit my wrist? Or is the watch wearing me? It is a wrist watch after all and very high on my lis...
