The only difference, not a paradigm as I do like the occasional automatic for something that you take off a few days and put back on. Or on a trip just something to have on. But for enthusiast pieces , this is the way.

Exact same choice of me, except concerning the metal:
I prefer precious, especially pink or yellow gold or platinum. But otherwise, definitely manual, no-date, strap! Best, Emmanuel
