Horological Meandering

Enjoying the start of my weekend with PP Nautilus 5712 and Piaget Polo S Green limited edition. Some say the Polo S is a copy of the Nautilus when it was launched back in 2016. Yes on a macro level they have the same 70s Genta design cues. But the Polo ca...  

I think it was never an intention Piaget would copy another watch. Copy own models, while production is reproducing. The Polo S have better shapes, i guess it is taste related to me. I dislike the ugly ear at left, and the Patek do not make an impression ...

a very nice watch in a fairer price range, and also like the slightly bigger case. I wish in the future there will be offered an iteration without this white date window. Personally I am no fan of white date windows on dials in another color. Best Thomas

Maybe for cost reasons? And because we still buy the watches? A purchase embargo should be started (petition!). So that some watch manufacturers might rethink. Best Thomas

I see you still have the same peeve haha. I have moved on else I could never most of the watches I bought since we last met :p

It’s good for me. Gives me a reason NOT to buy things! So for example that Piaget. It’s lovely! But I can nitpick and say “nope! Not for me”. Which helps to keep me out of debtor’s prison… Best E. PS it has been far too long…someday we’ll get this HK-SG b...
