I kinda miss the lacquer dials of the LM101 although the fume dials are not too bad. I had a Moser fume dial once which was highly attractive but the novelty ran out after a few months. Maybe it is just old fashioned me who would always prefer a more classical dial. Similarly, I had a LM101 in rose gold once but the 16mm dome bothered me after awhile and off it went. But I must confess that this reiteration is lovely especially in blue. My favourite LM101 remains the recent version in palladium which has an amazing dial. and changes colour in different lighting.

I just cannot imagine my facial expression when I swing my arm and hit it against the wall or door frame etc for the Tourbillon, ouch!
Imagine my fears when I borrow these watches!
I'm being super careful with this baby! Thankfully, I'm a naturally careful person to begin with!
Luckily (or sadly) for some time you will be in the elevator with your own self or perhaps ONE person

The LM101s look terrific and get rid of a couple of the details I disliked on the original like the MB&F logo and the "legacy machine" text.

It is difficult to stay in love with a watch if they're too thick!
I remember a Zeitwerk that I thought I'd love, but then realized it was too thick and constricting to wear. What a watch though!

and our small wrists do not help when it comes to thick watches. The LM range are lovely to look at though. less lovely to wear on a daily basis.

I was at the M.A.D. Gallery in January and even after a few seconds, I felt 19mm was suicidal!!
It's a lot of work! Lots of responsibility! Imagine what would happen if there was a big scratch! And I'm offered a lot of watches that I'd rather not take but I do it for the good of WatchProSite!
It's definitely a lot of responsibility! On some watches, I simply can't do it. The insurance is tremendous!

... while I think it‘s an interesting collaboration, these are not the right timepieces for me. I just don‘t see myself wearing these and I‘m in general not interested in tourbillon timepieces. But I like the idea of live reviews. Maybe next time

These pieces are definitely designed to appeal to a very small niche of watch collectors! Not everyone likes every watch ever made! I certainly don't like every watch on the market!
