Horological Meandering

Was just strolling through a shopping mall today and normally would not have stopped by this watch shop which mainly sell fashion brands.However, just out of curiosity I decided to have a quick look at the show window to see what some of the unknown brand...

Yes ,it has a screw down crown and it's a breeze to wind and also unscrew.Only picked it up today but don't think it will be much of a problem. cheers fernando

i like it as it looks like that big 'italian' brand with what looks like a similar movement, but for less than a strap. great purchase. best Graham

for money IMO Sam.You don't pay for all the extras like advertising,fancy boutiques,watch ambassadors etc. etc.It's also more exclusive IMO as you see more people wearing the fancy Italian brand! It's also a LE of 500pcs. cheers fernando

I own a couple of Poljots as well, and i have to comment that even though their accuracy is almost like to laugh at, they demonstrate basic watchmaking, of which i dont think i can even with a pen and paper. Cheers and enjoy your watch man! Stephen

but just to try something different. Although, just out of curiosity I'm also monitoring it and so far in a 15hr. period it's running 3 secs. fast which isn't too bad.I'll see how it does once it has settled but I'm not expecting much. Thanks for your com...

at the construction Patrick. One wonders if we are being overcharged by some of the more popular brands. Most times you get what you pay for but in this case you get quite a lot! cheers fernando
