Horological Meandering

Here is my attempt Imran!

£15k is actually a lot to spend on 5 watches in my opinion and one can get some really good watches at this price. In fact, I am sure I could do a good 5 watches for £10k (sorry, just showing off here smile)

1. Tudor Black Bay 36 - great value watch at under £2k and great size too smile

2. IWC Pilot watch 36 - these costs £3,200 plus I think and come with  a stylish Santoni strap. I was really pleased a couple of years ago when IWC launched the pilot's watch in this size (previously an unthinkable size for a pilot's watch).

3. Nomos Metro - I think this costs £2,600 or thereabouts. Philip Dufour himself rated Nomos very highly as a budget brand with a good movement. The Nomos Ludwig I used to own kept time as well as my Patek which I had bought on the same day as the Nomos.

4. Junghans Driver's watch - another under rated brand. My only qualm with this brand is the watches are not as accurate as say Nomos. This watch costs approximately £1k.

5. Rolex oyster 34 - lovely size and costs less than £4. Nicer if without the date.

Sorry for the non-inclusion of photos smile
