Horological Meandering

I'm 100% with you,

both in my disappointment with W&W 2024 releases and generally the price bracket where most interesting brands position themselves today.

My solution is going vintage, I am still having a hard time to comprehend how many amazing vintage watches from brands like Universal Geneve, Girard Perregaux, Movado, Omega or even Rolex or Vacheron can be bought for a tiny, tiny fraction of the cost of most new watches. Hell, even well below 500€ you can find magnificent vintage watches from prestigious brands in great condition with nice inhouse-movements that give many new watches 10 times the price a run for their money.

Your Tissot is a great option if you are looking for a good-looking, robust and waterproof watch. I was seriously tempted when it came out, but for daily use I have my rugged, waterproof watches covered and so I decided to focus 100% on vintage pieces and have never looked back from there.
