I've looked through
a couple of my reference Cartier books and have no conclusively id.
I assume the photo is not skewed and this is an ellipse shape?
I still have a few more tomes to check.....do I get paid by the hour?

Can anybody tell me more about this model: Steel and Gold - winding AB Buckle...
Could be
a 1973 Santos. They came in steel and gold as well as just gold. Also in round and square case shapes. But usually with metal bracelets. Wasn't there a re-issue in the late 1980s? Regards, MTF

Hi MTF You're a real gem. Need all your help to uncover this 'mystery' Its elliptical(vertical). Bought it 20 years ago.
There is a second
hand dealer in Singapore, the name starts with a P. This shop had an Oval Santos, exactly the same as yours, for sale about three years ago. He might be able to tell you more as there was a description, I remember. Geo
