Horological Meandering

The nominees have been announced........ Pleased,?disappointed?you do not care? Thoughts? Personally I find the line up quite satisfying ,even if I would have preferred some other watches in the categories,but I am biased..... Look forward to your comment... 

There is a good selection, a few missing and a few oddies. Mens complication... The Tudor heritage? I love this Tudor but put it next to the logical one or skybridge... I can put my number 1 in most catagories... But whether they will be the final winners... 

Strange non-selection of some of this years highlights..... I am happy for some watches to be there though,I suppose you can t make everybody happy. Mo

If one sees the website of GPGH the pictures in the entry list are wrong. There are many mismatches. I was shocked to see the same. I played the game of match the pictures and words like we did as children. This is not expected at this level. Take a look....

Honestly this "prize" is in a death spiral of increasing absurdity. Incompetent is another word that comes to mind. So does bizarre. So, Nico I join in doing my best to avert my gaze and ignore the whole idiotic exercise.

Why don t we have a nice watch award here on purist? We will be even more legitimised as a community....and it will be fun. As for the GPHG.....well it is what it is.....like reading gossip magazine...... Mo
