In my opinion, a Myth is a myth, and this watch, in a certain way is. Because it was the first and the only one to get the magic combo: a watch released under the kind permission of the Marina Militare Italiana, a brown dial, tritium indexes, and a titani...

They did it, with the 26, the 28, and I don't feel the Pam 36 is an oridinary watch. What I don't like is when you play on the LE concept, I mean that the 36 was a LE released some 11 years ago. It is too soon for a Tribute, and even if ithere may be a tr... 

I figure that any watch produced for the purpose of celebrating the 10 candles of the PuristPro site would be something special and not necessairly a tribute to one of Panerai's icones. I figure that a limited edition would be open to a more general publi... 

maybe something which floats in that circle not a pam 36 clone... however i believe panerai will have trouble using MM from now on... at least thats what i believe after the recent case of 339... but wouldnt that be the case with legend diver and polaris?... 

Because the Polaris is a Vintage model, which existed, as well as the Longines, while the Pam 36 is a modern re interpretation of a 6152-1. So they are not boxing in the same category. Therefore, the Pam 36 was a LE, while the original Polaris wasn't. For...

The Longines Legend Diver became as a friendly Purist watch, and I think it would be perfect to made a special version for us. In the same way, the Fifty Fathoms is a watch with lot of fans here (me included). I feel these watches are a bit Purists watche... 

You won't be the only one. Let's hope all these Purists not buying watches doesn't cripple the industry in the meantime. A

PSM.. simple Piccadilly with old movement.. either enamel or frosted dial... GO.. either a customised stainless steel Senator Meissen, or stainless steel Senator Chronometre, or simple stainless steel with manual wind (Senator Sixties)

What is the budget for that watch? I feel the budget will be the most important criteria. For example, I would love to see a Purist Reverso: enamel dial, superb finish of the movement, white metal case, but how much would it cost? I fear it will be way to... 

1/ Panerai: 47 mm base with the 1950 case. Or Mare Nostrum 47 or 45 mm. I don't see Panerai doing a short batch of let's say ... Even 50 watches of these. Or they will charge it so high that it will discourage everybody except the flippers. 2/ JLC: Revers...

I had an AP Starwheel in SS with blue dial in Millenary case. In fact, Thomas arranged the purchase. Since I had never seen one live, I didn't know the print would be too small for me to read. Arrrggghh! I ended up selling it for "almost nothing" compared...

I have been waiting for a while for AP to resurrect the Starwheel, and wouldn't this be a wonderful occasion for that? Great suggestion. Andrew

I mean, these are probably my 3 favorite brands Rolex would be pretty cool but I think it won't be possible. AFAIK Rolex does not make any special editions and I'm not interested in aftermaket inscriptions or modifications. Panerai, Max 3 hands, NO date a... 

Perhaps with red PPRO on the dial? It would be great if the piece could be made available (in terms of $) to all purists. We should not exclude those due to hugh prices. My humble 2 cents. cheers PAt

This Longines is very special and so few were issued that a re-issue of a similar style might be very. I also really like Daos' idea of a JLC Geophysic reissue

...Idrografico in their collection. I LOVED the look of that piece and went so far as to ask my AD about trying to get it to no avail. My AD says the new column-wheel chrono will be in next spring, so I'll be curious to see how that Longines stacks up in ... 

I have trio in mind 1. JLC - ATMOS PPro edition by Marc Newson 2. GP - ww.tc with cities where PPro Members comes from highlighted in red 3. Now I can say already notorious Panerai (we see lot of new log-ins just because of potential Panerai PPro 10th Ann... 

These would be my top choices.

most of the suggestions i've read so far have verged on elitist and unaffordable by some of the active members. the idea is to bring everyone together, not seperate us by way of income and financial freedom. i like the Hamilton movement idea and lots of c... 

in platinum with a hidden tourbillon, and 1,7,8 in red (instead of the 12) in a "hunter type case back", with a picture of the PPro founder engraved on it. hows that for expensive and un-attainable

so it would either have to be a very small run of say 50 pieces for the lucky wealthy but also something much cheaper and fun in the Swatch price range that almost everybody would get just to say it was from the Purists as a sign of friendship around the ... 

the idea is to bring us all together as one group of friends so having different watches, one for the rich and one for the poor is the exact opposite of the spirit of the forum. having a model that looks the same but with different levels of finish as sug... 

With our PuristS 10th edition watches, the PPro exec team does not get sole control on which watches get made - it is all up to the brands to approve. So we are limited in what watches we really want to have. What you've written is why the 1st PuristSPro ...

i'd like the dial to have the hour inner track/minute outer track like the Laco/lange observors watch and a handwind movement. obviously not the 55mm size, but 40-44mm. it would be appropriate as we are all 'observors' of this wonderful forum in one way o...

... as I prefer things simple. So no fancy modifications for me, just the following: - Panerai: a reissue of the PAM 21 in Platinum. Not necessarily a Rolex movement inside, but it would be very nice to have an extraordinarily finished and decorated movem... 

what you described sounded like the PAM309/322/349...

... and it certainly has elements of it, and than a bit extra....
