Actually, a vintage Omega would make an awful solitary watch, as they need to be serviced rather more frequently than less, and parts availability is an ongoing issue. With current GS you get top quality at relatively modest cost and (presumably) service well into the future.

That Lange would be lovely. At MSRP, those Rolex OP's are a formidable option, but some of the colors aren't as utilitarian as one would want.
