Horological Meandering

During the summer of 2009, my wife, my daughter of 16 years, and myself spent a 28 day vacation in Northern Europe. While there, we visited friends, trolled through numerous watch retailers, visited a fellow watch aficianado that regularly posts on this f...  

of course, meeting Le Bim would have been the highlight of the 4 weeks you were away. Fjord cruises, visits to Ateliers and friends, a perfect holiday although in one of the pics your daughter looks less than excited to be there i assume its the last holi...

Hi Laurens, a great report, i wish i could have gone to Stepon toghether with you, but your report & pics make up for my absence. No matter how "old" we get, we always learn new and interesting stuff .... It was very nice to have a real PurisT and his fam...  

What does the beer label mean? I just put that on there for Graham does not think anyone who drinks beer outside of the UK knows what beer is? Did you not know that?

After talking with Bimbaeno and looking at the photographs of the London GTG, we think you need to "lighten up" and have a little fun! Watches are meant to be fun!

calm down children, i fully agree about watches being fun, look at the odd things i own. even i cant tell the time on them :) i've heard a rumour that other countries can make a liquid they call beer, but only the Germans, Danish and Belgians make anythin... 

Thanks for that exceptionally well-written, researched and factually correct report - bla bla bla - but it's true! -with some very nice personal photos, coming only after hours of my having ordered - another Sarpaneva! the K3 Red Harvest Moon to go along ... 

I bet Stepan loves you! Really, these are exceptional, working, and moving pieces of art! You will certainly enjoy the Korona RG for it is simply stunning. I wish I had known you then also for I would have loved to have met you...by the way, what country ... 

After the Black Moon and the K2 in DLC, "Philippe M" flew in once again from Paris to deliver the RG Korona. Before I was able to get a really good look at it, I noticed what Philippe had on his wrist. It was the K3 Red Moon, the one at least partially in...

A great and powerful MOON is now appearing on the Korona RG! Sorry for the delay, but my weekend has become my "weak end" - the one I am presently sitting upon. I hope my birthday wish for September will be fulfilled - a digital camera with a macro lens. ...
