I’ve come around
To thinking a lot of it has to do with patina, material and use of space and volume. Raised markers rather than stamped. Multiple levels to the dial. It all works together to create a landscape. And this watch has all of that.
This is what sets Lange and Patek apart from Jaquet Droz or Cartier for example IMO.
