Mrs C is a physical education teacher. Here she is with her sister - with combined ages totaling 104, they are looking good. But sadly, no watches in sight.
She favors tough watches that stand up to abuse out on the playground. She goes through straps in a hurry, and I have to scrub and bleach the white one regularly.
I've gradually convinced her she needs a few dressier watches - in sequence getting a Sinn, Grand Seiko, IWC and JLC - plus she found a vintage watch she likes with her name and initial on the dial - Laurie R.
Any suggestions (not a Rolex, she won't have it) for dressy but not extravagant women's watches?
Used is preferable as she's quite frugal, and the dial has to be large enough that she can actually see the time ...
Or maybe just a lack ostrich on the JLC?
What do you think?
Thanks
