Horological Meandering

First, let's get the elephant out of the room: for those of us who lived through the 70s, there's only one answer (youngsters can just follow links to get warmed up: Le Freak! and La Freak !) Joke aside, I have been looking at what I would call the sport ...  

The lack of a screw down crown is a real bummer and deal breaker for me.

For example, JLC's Deep Sea Chronograph. As long as the design is robust enough, there isn't a need for SI crowns or chrono pushers.

I've had two crowns fly off after being caught in straps/ropes playing with children.

...at least not during the holiday season.

To my surprise, it only seems to be available on the strap, the bracelet version gets a gray rotor as far as I can tell!

The titanium bracelet is very nice. Hope they will update the line with smaller size and full steel models. I have the Octo Roma and I could tell you this watch is exceptional and has very high value for money. Very thin at 9.1 mm, short lug to lug span, ...  

A real sleeper, bulgari deserve a lot of credit for what they are doing.
