It is hard to campare these two side by side
It is like have two good wines from different regions right after each other. Against each other you get a different contrast than individually. I try not to do that and have a stand out you can enjoy and compare it to others that support its individuality.
So in the case of new diver don't compare it to an icon which itself conjure up different feelings but comparing to other dive watches. This way you let it live it own life rather than in the shadows and only then will see the standout that it is. Over time our eyes will get used to these siblings and the comparison will be more just.

Let's try and find some example to compare the new diver with. Maybe a Panerai or two or even a Sinn U1. Let's get some ideas and see if we can get some pix to compare. Bill
