Horological Meandering

It’s a great piece!

I went with the steel case because I wanted a more classic look. There was also a black case variant made out of Cermet.
It feels and wears like a vintage watch but with modern specs and performance. It is one of the most accurate watches in my collection. The chrono pushers feel very precise and direct, so does the bezel which is requires a bit of intention to set, but this makes it almost impossible to inadvertently knock off center.
It is very close in looks to a Speedmaster, of which I have several. The JLC however is easier to wear because it is automatic and has better legibility in both daytime and nighttime thanks to the lume.
The only thing I would change about it is giving it a screw down crown for more peace of mind when swimming, though it is rated at 100M as is which is more than enough for my needs.
Lastly, it is very easy to change the look with a new strap. It takes 21mm straps and because the dial is so monochromatic it will look good with any color.
Let me know if you have any specific questions!
